Conversation and communication are two of the things I’ve long been fascinated with, so I’ve bookmarked this article.

I’d add one thing, and that it that conversation should be as free as possible from “subtle verbal abuse” which involves the kinds of phrasings and attitudes that probably all of us use accidentally, to create “one up, one down” situations in service of our egos.
