Even though I’ve written about a dozen books, and hundreds of articles, I’ve known for a long time that I’m just not able to write “copy”, Clare Barry. Particularly marketing copy, book blurbs, and all that stuff.

As you so well point out, there’s so much subtle stuff going on that makes it work or not work. It’s really hard to learn, particularly if you tend to be on the verbose side as a writer.
