I hate social media, BUT in the spirit of your post here’s the good side:

I have come across great musicians who, without social media, and places like Youtube, I would never have found, and who never would have attained exposure of their brilliance.

Social media has allowed some really good writers to write for an audience. Sure, the majority of social writing is crap, and not worth reading, but now the really good folks have a platform.

I’ve come across far more with and humor that I wouldn’t have otherwise.

Personally, I wish social media would die off. But….there you go…I’d miss these things, particularly the music.
