Lots of good stuff in this, though I’m not sure I agree with that many of the points. The one thing I want to add is the difficulty in “measuring performance” for the purpose of rewarding, PLUS the issue of unwanted consequences of rewarding for pay for performance.

I’ve written extensively on this in my books and on my website, but I’d be interested in hearing a more in-depth analysis of these particular issues related to performance pay.
