A lot of verbal abuse is subtle. Not just shouts and insults

It strikes me, given the focus on sexual harassment, that verbal abuse and sexual harassment have a lot in common. Perhaps the most obvious commonality involves the explanations (read EXCUSES) people use for their abusive and harassing behavior.

Below you’ll find some quotes I created for something or other….to tell the truth I can’t remember what…on the nature of verbal abuse.
