We always need more critical thinking, but here’s the problem. Thinking needs “stuff” — data, information, understanding, and our world is so complex that few of us have access to all that we need to draw conclusions that are logical and analytic. So, the truth is, I don’t buy this argument.
It IS absolutely necessary that all of us rely on others for their access to information which we cannot access, whether they are politicians, auto mechanics, plumbers, etc. And that’s the problem: the complexity of most things makes us relatively helpless in making informed decisions. @Helen Lee Bouyg Helen Lee Bouygues
